Chinese American Women Oral History Project

CAWOHP is a joint project with the Schlesinger Library of the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study at Harvard University to record oral histories of Chinese American women who lived in New England.


Tunney F Lee Lecture Series

The Tunney F Lee Lecture Series has been established to host seminars and lectures about the Chinese American experience by various speakers. As they are planned, topics will be posted.


Annual Meeting and Dinner
Held annually in September to conduct elections, honor our Sojourner Awardees, and serve as a community gathering. Previous speakers have included Jennifer 8 Lee, New York Times reporter and author of The Fortune Cookie Chronicles


Sojourner Award
Established in 1995 in memory of our early Chinese sojourners to recognize individuals and organizations for their contribution to the recording, preservation, and education about the Chinese American community in New England.


Historic Chinatown Walking Tours
A walking tour of the sites in Chinatown that are important to the develop of our Chinatown community.  Click here for more information about schedules and reservations.
