CHSNE ARCHIVE AND COLLECTIONS

In 1932, Henry Wong opened the Shanghai Printing Company on Oxford Street. Most of the print jobs were for Chinese restaurant menus and laundry tickets. (CHSNE collection)

CHSNE has collections of photographs, newspaper articles, research reports including dissertations, oral histories (audio and transcribed), artifacts (restaurant menus, matchbooks, laundry tickets), and much more. See below for an incomplete listing.

Collections are being processed in with consideration to time and need. We hope to get to your favorite collection soon.
